In Just Seven Days I Can Make You A Man

If these ads, which ran in comic books in the early 1950s, are any indication, one of the biggest problems of American boys in those days was that they were terribly underweight. Luckily there were people like Charles Atlas and George F. Jowett, whose ads are pictured here, to teach them how to be real he-men. After all, who wants to be a spindly-armed sissy, when in just ten pleasant minutes a day you could be a muscly-armed sissy instead?
