Nobody blinked an eye last year when Lucky Blue Smith, who was still 18 years old, and his 26-year-old girlfriend, Stormi Brie, announced that they were expecting their first child together. They seemed happy about it, the press covered it as joyous news, and Lucky Blue went back to living his life as usual, touring with his family band, modeling, and going to the beach. The couple's social media feeds became so divorced from each other that people were openly speculating that they had cut ties, and certain outrage junkies, armed with no information what-so-ever, tried to publically shame the 18-year-old for abandoning the 26-year-old. Yesterday the child was born, a girl they have named Gravity Blue Smith, because of course they did.

If you don't know who Caleb Burton is, join the club. He is one of those completely unremarkable-seeming boys that somehow comes out of nowhere and makes a respectable splash in social media. In this case the 17-year-old's growing cachet seems to be rooted in the fact that he is friends with mega-successful 19-year-old "influencer" (ugh) Brent Rivera, who had eight million Vine subscribers, and now has over five million Instagram followers and nearly three million Youtube subscribers. Caleb's numbers aren't nearly as impressive, but he has about a hundred and sixty-three thousand more Instagram followers than I do, and that ain't nothing. In Brett's Instagram videos, Caleb seems gangly, and goofy-cute, not what I'd call sexy, but he seems to have learned an important lesson from Brett: It's good to be funny, but if you really want to rope in the subscribers you have to steam it up on occasion. If that means being photographed in the shower (in your underwear, because don't everyone?) so be it.
If you want to know how Brent does it, see below. Oh, guess what? Same shower.

Happy 4th of July to those who celebrate, and even to those who don't . To be honest, I don't think there's anything particularly patriotic about wrapping yourself in an American flag (patriotism being the most misused word in the English language) but sometimes the cutest boys do it.
